How would a share split satisfy demand? As Ben said all a share split does is change sentiment to make a company appear cheaper. Its much more common seeing share consolidations for seasoned companies, rarely a share split.
Only recent one I've seen is TNO which I guess was fair enough considering its a junior mining explorer. Otherwise if a company is going to spend corporate costs on fruitless efforts like a share split I'd take it as a bad sign.
