Actually, if you run in scientific circles as I do (& CSIRO), then using words like "promising" and "suggest" are pretty standard language for perfectly good results. It is actually quite difficult to get scientists to use the marketing fluff adjectives (in a report) that everyone else uses to bang on about things. I mean, hey, we get excited about things, but I can't recall ever seeing that term used in a report! Not saying more testing is not required, just saying this is still "https://www.thesaurus.com/browse/great" news.
