Interesting announcement. I am eager to see how the market digests this.
Doing a bit of research, it appears Stuart Grimshaw and Brendan White worked together numerous times at CBA and most recently BOQ. It appears as Stuart Grimshaw left BOQ to join EZCorp and Jon Sutton was appointed CEO of BOQ in his place, Brendan White (Group executive at the time) has now been poached by Stuart and bought over to run CCV.
Other research I could find pointed to Brendan's success at growing his loan book at BOQ, so I'm eager to see how he performs as CEO. Hopefully brings some good things, and potentially some good reputation as well. On the face of it all, I think it is a great announcement, but as I said, will be interesting to see how/if the market reacts.
