I get the feeling there is already tension between Hazer team and Ward.
Leading up to his appointment, the Hazer team did a fabulous job promoting the company with the interim CEO, Andrew and Tom. These roadshows would have also been approved by the broad, so the team and the Board had an aligned strategy.
This resulted in a nice rise in the SP, but nothing more than getting the SP back to where it was before Pocock resigned.
As soon as Ward comes in everything changed and information and promotion was suppressed.
Last week we got a brief overview from Ward, with the first line stating "Following last week’s AGM and Board meeting, the Board of Hazer Group and I undertook a review of the company strategy and short-to-medium term plans"
I wonder whether the Board had a talking to Ward? If so, why did this meeting only take place last week? Did the Board not discuss 'short-to-medium term plans' upon his appointment? Does the Board want options exercised but Ward doesn't?
Anyone else missing the Mark Edwards and Andrew Cornejo show?
