Have you been to the cource? Like any products out in the market you have many that credit the fruits of the products and others that curse the bitter after taste. No systems and that includes Daryl Guppy's will be a guaranteed to make money all the time. IMO reading trading books are just that. For a novice, this is not a good way to get one's hands dirty trading. It just provides the background knowledge and until one experience the ups and down of trading, one will never really be 'educated'.

When I first started, reading all those books about TA, I used to think they were the crystal ball. Each author pick examples that reinforce the message he is bringing accross. However in reality it is a case of probability and experience.

What HT offers is a fast forward way to enter the market and trade CONFIDENTLY. Remember it is the sentimen that drives the market up or down in most cases. Mathematical trading methods have their merits just as much as experience and 'gut feel'. However, one cannot learn these simply by reading a book. Mechanical trading has the benefit of backtesting although the critics will argue on the merits. That is better than gut feel and experience on entering and exiting a trade because you cannot measure the performance of that.

I believe that I have learned more from the cource and save myself $$$ as opposed to gaing experience and learning the hard way.
