Im way to lazy although its not all Chinese. In 2016 I sold a house a few streets away from where I am now . On one side we had Russians and the other we had Chinese , while we did see them once a year they were almost never in residence. My assumption is that these either foreign holders or SIV visa holders. I spoke to the son of the guy that bought Packers residence , he told me they hardly ever used the house. The people that bought the house next door a few mionths ago are chinese and the buyer plans to buy another 10 properties , which at 10.8m a transaction seems to be a lot of houses to want to own. I know this because he told me. I also know that 89% of SIV and Premium visa applicants were from China (reported stats from immigration) , we also know that there has been a 650-750M a month in foreign demand for NSW property that has fallen since this time in 2017, we know this from NSW stamp duty records see attached picture , we also know this is happening overseas in London, Vancouver and New York. We also know that Ghost towers have appeared in London that are remiscent of the Chinese ghost cities we hear about. We have nearly 20 properties on my radar that appear to have been purpose built for this now absent chinese demand , all of these properties are 200 apartments and over, some has high as 880 apartments. My guess is Packers Baragaroo complext is a potential ghost tower, theyve only sold 4-5 at last count and all of them were to Packer related parties
