Great post zog, there seems to have been angst against LD due to the Tukabianga failure LD was not completely responsible for the failed operation at Tukabianga as there were some questionable board members that rubber stamped the move there as well ie Paul Chapman (ex OMH MD check out the share price under his leadership there ) , prior to that LD did prove he could operate Daisy Milano as a profitable mine something Pilara was incapable of .
DRM has two very competent board members the MD Lee Junk and Peter Alexander , who are expected to go onto the Doray Lake Board so really there is no need to keep LD on once that happens
Strange the new board composition took into account only taking on two DRM board members and retaining virtually all SLR board members (from memory )
Personally I am still against this merger , I do not see the synergies , its not like you can get in a ute and pop over to the Merchison from KAL , or change ore processing from Deflector to Kal , they are a two hour plane flight apart . Given the amount of operations around Daisy Milano I would have thought they would have offered better synergies and bang for buck like SLR previously did with SOW .
