Just be thankful the "smart" guys knew Libs were dead this election and even worse was the result; and Lakes has got on with business and organised another shot at some compensation from the courts second time around. We are out of time, money and have to start producing in SA (libs are in now) not just output from the wells but profitable output- real good rev and this is a crap shoot as so many wells have oil/gas but few have really GOOD levels.
The election results seem to indicate from what has been said that Victorians saw the building, cranes, spending trying to build for all the extra amount of people pouring into the state and realised the Libs as they always do, will pull all this down based on economics so that fear and the Fed mess and hatred of leader removal, that they have punished the Vic libs this time. The Fed election will be a walk in for Shorten but he will still have to deal with the housing wind down and lack of taxes from now on. Companies like Lakes and others are needed regardless of ideology just to provide gas and taxes for soon to be starved govts.
Greens want 100% renewable s, Labour 50% and the hard conservatives Zero of course. Rationality of what science can do NOW seems to be lost in all the blowing up of power stations and hatred of carbon; something that has given our species the modern standard of living we enjoy. If Labour forces in heavy change of power mix, we could be seeing a double of already high power bills but no one seems rational enough to care anymore? Beliefs over rational science with limits of today?
The people have spoken, but do they realise what they are really voting for? IMO only of course!
