Re the 'first strike' terminology, my understanding it's that's what it's called when more than 25% vote against it. If they get a 'second strike' at the next AGM (caused by 25% voting against it) the whole board is immediately terminated and all seats put up for election. So 50% against is a really seriously high number - and from my perspective I just don't understand why NRW copped it. Especially in a year when they pulled off both massive organic improvements and an amazingly successful acquisition.
