Is it a currency , an investment vehicle or neither?

A major currency is relatively stable.thats the nature of a solid currency. 

An investment is supposed to grow.. 

If you accept that bitcoins price has to stabilize / be trustworthy for it to be actually adopted as a currency anywhere where the economy isnt totally shafted

then you have to accept that all the stuff about bitcoin  being worth 100k, 500k in a few years that was being spammed non stop across social media at the end of 2017 was fraud or total insanity
