The business is a truly great business and the mob from Hong Kong knew that, it generates good dividend's, it is well run and my guess is that whomever would be willing to buy the company? I reckon they would like to keep the same management if they could?

This knock back by the Government has cost me dearly at a time I least of all needed it, I really don't see why they would allow some foreign companies to buy some other major infrastructure, but not others? it isn't as if they could repatriate the whole thing back to where they come from and it isn't as if they can't regulate the prices that these companies could ask for, just ask APA about how they themselves have been regulated?

It's a bit like when the pollies started complaining that our farming land was being sold to the Chinese, fair dinkum they own less than 1% of our farmland, take a good look at who owns a good percentage of it, hint, they are from the UK and the US
The whole thing is just a political snafu, they want to be seen to be doing something but in effect it does absolutely nothing, so much for free trade!
