Surely it has to be accepted that we have limited funds.  This has been a pressure for a considerable time and as we draw closer to the funds ending, that's an existential crisis. Perhaps the terms I use annoy you as pretentious and therefore condescending?

But the continued existence of the company is a looming crisis and has been for a considerable time. So I don't think the use of the term is over the top nor is it intended to generate negative feelings in anyone on a personal level.

Don't know why you interpret what I say as vitriol. I don't attack you personally.  I simply disagree.

My sentiment has always been the same. Because I believe in the science. Which has been restated over and over.

Insinuations? Why don't you stick to what I've actually said rather than what you imagine I'm saying?

I'd be really really happy if we manage to get a breakthrough with the collaborations. 

That's never been in question. I don't know why you think that I cannot hold complex views and have an overall position with the company that doesn't line up with yours.
