Cast your mind back a few more this when he lodged a noticed informing the market that a number of his shares were to be held as collateral against a prime / margin account.

Would coincide with broader market volatility and LPi’s share price getting smoked. Depending on what he used the money for and how geared the position was, whoever has offered a level of gearing would of had a set price on LPI where Marty would of had to tip in more $ or liquidate the position.

Iam just guessing here, however more than a few dots line up.

Complete speculation, but yeah it does look that way doesn't it. Although what sort of margin facility would take LPI stock for collateral?
