On the home page of the Hillgrove Resources website underthe heading “Kanmantoo Callington Community Consultative Committee”, paragraph5 of the Draft Notes to the Meeting 15 March 2018 states:
“Underground exploration development– If an undergroundexploration drive via a portal from the pit wall determines there is aneconomic resource it would result in a possible 10 year extension to mine lifeand $200 million revenue to the state”.
Does anyone know what $200 million in revenue to theGovernment of South Australia would be as a portion of copper sales? For example, would the $200 million represent5% of the money that Hillgrove would receive from copper sales? At first reading this strongly suggests thatHillgrove should just keep moving forward with mining and hedges, and forgetabout pumped hydro!
While I have a small position in Hillgrove, I am veryconcerned about the lack of interest and turnover in the stock.
On the flip side, over the years I have seen many stocksthat have been taken over for ridiculously cheap prices with no considerationfor long term shareholders. I hope thisdoes not happen here.
