I don't understand why nobody questions the auditors in regard to threats of legal action. Are they not responsible for checking and validation of financial reports. If there are really issues with the published figures, why were the issues not discovered until released in that unpublished report. On the other hand, has the unpublished report been auditted before it was released to the media? What is the purpose of auditors if not preventing shareholders and other stakeholders being provided with incorrect information?
