well done to holders today....for....doing nothing!! the temptation must be great for folk to sell into the 8's, and it seems most have figured it out....
the top 3 buyers are serious, otherwise you wouldnt risk a prop.......and all the signs are pointing to a possible deal.
the action has been quite serious, considering the state of the market, those buyers could have simply waited, but there seems to be a slight sense of urgency.
on a different note, someone chewed my ears yesterday about director buying, and its a common topic on these threads. of course we all love to see them buying, and hate them selling !! but i was given a bit of a serve(misguided), about the directors here..........well, they do hold quite a few, and i was questioned as to why they havent been buying, especially if the deal is going to be a good one.....well, they have been buying, but, we need to remember they have circumstances like us where they may not be able to, nor should we expect them to, support the market. its probably worth noting too, they cant trade like us fellas, they basically have to hold, in order to please us, so they"re in it for the long term. its also worth noting they have an interest in the SP heading up.....those performance rights....
i'm not up to speed on the restrictions, or blackout stuff, but directors have very narrow windows to buy, as they cant pre-empt any inside info, and i believe it includes any announcements, including quarterlies..........i stand to be corrected though.
anyhow, we are all probably still underwater, and the new buyers will no doubt have expectations, so hopefully, we get something soon..........whether its before the AGM, who knows....if not, then the directors will be dodging questions from the hopeful
