Makes one wonder what their motive is behind this seemingly irrational move (other than a strategic one).

Typical of Big Pharma, though, hey? They probably just want to milk the profit they can out of inferior drugs they have committed to... and "stuff the cancer sufferers". In fact, I am not all that surprised... and more grateful now that I made a good profit out of it.

I take it that you guys (ST, Werble, Kates and others included) hang out in the sector of biotech stocks. I hope I do better here than I do elsewhere on the ASX... and that FTT will be my saviour this year like VLA was for me last year!
