"If Labor created two types of retirees: the first on a part pension plus franking credits, and the second on no pension and no franking credits there would be a wave of strategies put in place by self-funded retirees, or potential retirees, to ensure at least a part pension. This could include buying a more expensive home, spending money on reservations or travel, or simply giving it to the kids."
