Now the crunch is coming on the global economy, food crisis, energy crisis we'll begin to see how these feel good programs (like the current model of COZ) that actually yield no tangible, meaningful, measurable benefit to mankind and his plight in a dwindling resource future will survive. The model would be fine IF THEY PLANTED PERENNIAL TREE CROPS. Simple really ... planet short of foods, planet with too much CO2. Solution = perennial food crops.

Bracchus the UN is about as useful to the world as breasts on a boar pig. Toothless tiger.

Go to the Western suburbs of Sydney and see what the folk out there reckon about carbon credits ... maybe some of the poor Opus Primes clients. Do you really think these folk (ones who are seeing house values tank, investments head south) are going to care about a hairbrain scheme that removes even more arable land from the food production base of the world (permanently!!!!). Are you guys crazy?

Just wait until the carbon credits vs food debate hots up just as with biofuels vs food.
