Melua, I don't see it as a red flag personally,

As I understood it Jeff stood down from the CEO role initially to focus on the Technical side (which, if you read his Bio is one of his key strengths). If you have a bad fit on a company CEO hire then what do you do .... get rid of them ASAHP or let them linger doing more damage. Kind of like what do you do if a new hire in any role isn't cutting it during the probation period - what do you do - let them linger hoping they will improve or .... ?  .... and if you have a CEO depart do you immediately replace them with an internal CEO candidate who knows the company and operations intimately - or do you leave a void until you can hire someone else ...... someone has to be at the helm. 

BTW: I'm basing my "bad fit CEO" theory on the length of his stay, the timing of the departure and the fact there have been very few news releases since Gilbert took over.

If I'm right ..... then I think this is the best way they could handle it. Given there have been no news releases on progress for some time (which for a start-up is a problem .... and is kind of the CEO's job to keep the market/investors informed and momentum up) so I'm assuming Gilberts loss is not a really big hit to Titomic.

Just my opinion of course but hey ...... looks reasonable given the data.
