Hi Sabine
i am on the road presently and my times are anyones guess.
NWH knows how to keep a secret evidenced by the general trading. Engineering and Construction is carried out twice. Once on paper and then on the ground so its remarkable we haven't seen the the plunges witnessed with so many other companies prior to the fact.
Sometimes i think a meeting may go along the lines
The premiers dept to Jules. ....I want a highway
Jules... Where do you like me to drop it
Premiers Dept .......... How about there ( pionting at a map)
Jules ................... Done. However we all know its a little more involved and doesn't happen that way. Every one of those 120 million cubic meters of soil for example(from memory) mentioned in the Mac presentation would have been accounted for before the job is even started.
Anyway its seems to me the moves in the spread are measured and appears as calculated as accumulation day after day.
This company is performing at the higher levels in so many ways.
Should the performance metrics be measured over a longer duration than just one year I can't imagine NWH would not be the outright winner.
The general is a must just to see Jules
Thanks for the photos and updates from the varied parties. i'm a civil engineering buff.In the city large projects are walled of from the general public for there own protection and viewing ports are spaced at regular intervals for various reasons Surveyors and engineers can assessing progress without travelling down the 75 meters to the base. You will often notice someone stuck to the viewing port for hours. That me. I just want to know how they are going to perform the impossible task. I guess it all started from driving the 11 tonners before i had my licence. Construction companies were fantastic to work for.
A trivia moment. Did you know that a bulldozer double the weight of the preceding model does ten times the work.
I don't mean to embarrass you by saying so but you don't miss a beat and know how to say it. The sweet touch I suppose as I have noticed my manners have generally improved considerably after reading your posts as well.
Cheers
