There's no way that you can keep a smartphone operation down to 25 degrees or use them in driverless cars etc unless they improve it substantially.

Of course, it can handle higher temperature as they've shown that soldering causes no problem but that will shorten the retention time.

Maybe you'd need 10 years at 50degrees to cover most applications?

As I said, I don't know enough about how they go about getting the numbers up but they obviously can make improvements as they've said as much. Maybe there's a limitation with silicone in reram? Dunno.

Would be good to hear from others on the subject too.
