A record number of new electric models (216) will hit the market next year as consumers see higher gasoline prices.

On a side note: Figures just released by Bloomberg show that so far this year (2018) that 4 million electric cars have been sold - and there's still one quarter to go. That's a 77% increase on 2017 numbers sold - and again, one quarter of 2018 to go. So will be a circa 100% increase. To clarify, this growth figure does not include commercial vehicles, like buses, trucks, ships, ferry's or planes.
Believe me when I say: It won't be long before the analysts (cough) will be shaking their heads as they try to wrap their minds around this growth story. And its all linked to lithium .
