Ye gods man, clearly the scale on the Westpac chart is compressed and thus incorrect - the top Westpac trend follows the "correct" bottom trend 100% 1-for-1, but with an incorrect scale (e.g. period in 2012-13 where it was just above $1 or below $1 depending on which chart you read). Pull off your tinfoil hat for a few seconds champ, it's too tight.
