In Tom Kools article ithis morning on OilPrice.com he quotes Citigroup as having expressed the view that the Brent price could open out to as much as $15 over WTI,without saying why they think this..Elsewhere he says that WTIs price could get squeezed down because of delivery problems in the U.S.Without seeing the Citigroup advice you cant see if the 2 statements by Tom Kool should be considered as interrelated to the same set of facts.If we could access the Citigroup advice it would be possible to see if Citigroup are matching WTIdelivery problem with the Brent margin increasing or if they are referring to the premium of Brent over WTI being a function of the increased diesel demand.Hope its the latter for Maaris sake.
