Argentina, i would speculate that vendors would be wanting western denominated cash/ script.

Inflation there is terrible. Just put yourself in the shoes of a Argentine vendor. You have an asset, but you dont have the cash to develop it. And your country is same. Go west, and let the pet shop boys get you some western script where the sun is warm.

Bargain basement asset sales from the impoverished .

Now if ASX HDY get your asset up and developing, you have growing value in script, that you can redeem into AUD cash, that translates to much more in your local currency.

But you dont trust your local currency, to convert while inflation is out of control.
