I have worked in this neck of the woods and can tell you that a Feasibility Study can be knocked over in 6 months with the right project coordination. 9 months is very common and 12 months would be a long one. The two main determinants are the resource drilling and the metallurgy. If these are already substantially progressed and not that complex, then the feasibility should be at the short end. I cant see any reason why AZS's studies should be that complex.
The main I issue I can see is that if the Scoping Study result is a bit shabby economic return wise, then AZS may wait for more exploration results to increase the resource for the Feasibility Study. If that happens the Feasibility could slip out to the longer timeframe.
I think 2 years from now to development is quite a reasonable schedule.
However I do agree slippage in timeframes is the norm, and these particularly hit during permitting and pre development.
