Russia has far greater economic relations with Israel than with Syria and Iran combined. That's why they gave a free hand to a large extent to Israel to bomb Syria here and there.

"and yet Russia propaganda pinning it on Israel and using that to bring in previously stalled delivery of S300's which will be used to deny Israeli airstrikes on Iranian weapons depots which have previously been carried out unhindered"

Which exactly tells me the Israeli's did the dirty on Russia in this instance. And now the Russians should know once and for all that although they may have more economic relations with Israel than with Syria and Iran combined , Israel is totally dependent on the US and is a US attack dog/vassal state. I hope the s300 system is enough to protect all of Syria and Lebanon from Israel.

"Seems like Russia is picking a side for an anticipated upcoming regional conflict escalation and everyone will take notice. It's almost a sure thing now that Iran/Russia will be allies against Isreal/Saudi in any upcoming larger regional conflict."

That's been obvious for about 5 years, it's a pity the Russians took so long to figure it out. That regional conflict is entirely driven by a US attempt to reshape the entire ME in it's interest and risks a conflict with Russia. Seems a risk that the US is ever more willing to take, no matter who is president or which party has a majority.
