A lot of these posts are lacking research. The deposit is essentially the same.

I would say that TMT’s northern block deposit has been questioned to be fairly narrow but they still believe they can pull vanadium out of the ground at $4.27 usd a pound. That’s really profitable and that’s with no other metal credits. They believe this can be even cheaper by running a steeper pit wall design.

The only reason why AVL are behind is because they have opted to run an extremely detailed PFS including all other metal credits which is a lot more work involved. TMT just ran their PFS based off vanadium content to move their project forward to DFS status ASAP which again is also a different tactic and approach by the management.

I wouldn’t be surprised if AVL when they publish their PFS they get OPEX under $3 a pound. They are going to go bigger in terms of tonnage which would reduce costs and they are making the effort to include other metal credits. This detailed PFS being conducted by AVL will actually benefit TMT.

Now I have always believed that TMT with have other metal credits including cobalt etc within their deposit just the same as AVL.
