The shorts are on the wrong stocks, he obviously cant pick significant winners, and then he matches longs and shorts in almost equal proportions......
The SP is well under NTA, has been for a while and will probably be so for quite some considerable time yet.
Its also under NTA for a good reason, and is due to systemic failure, not just a one off event.
I think you would have a better chance of making money by investing in one of the aged care stocks that fell something like 17% today after the announcement of the royal commission, than to take a chance with ALF. All my humble opinion, however if you look at my posts on ALF, you will get a pretty comprehensive idea of the events and of its continued non performance. We have discussed options and alternatives but I dont think any of them include Justin Braitling.
