I get the feeling with them having boots on the ground they would have a better idea of what happening than anyone on here!
I am inclined to side with Hamish out of logic, industry and tourism can co-exist and who would know how to do that best than Australian company, running the mines and furnaces under one banner!
Just makes sense!
A properly run mine/processing plant will give more to the community and locals than any of the other options listed.
