I'm puzzled what you mean by doing nothing? All of DGR's holdings have been progressing irrespective of what the share price says at any given time.

Where we differ is where we believe the start of the happenings began! From our point of view, BHP having a crack at SOLG (again) is not surprising, we knew SOLG would be brought into play, it was only a matter of when. For many, hindsight would seem pretty obvious right now.

With the updated MRE due by year's end who knows when the next move will occur?

Hedging DGR against a settling of SOLG's SP, is near term upside from AJQ & ANW.

No-one can predict where macro events such as Cu or Trump might take DGR, but holders know we are valued well below our SOLG holdings alone.

You are certainly correct in that you can't take a loss sitting on the sidelines!
