2	The price of silico manganese in the Chinese domestic market continues rising in stages after bouncing back at the end of July.The price of Inner Mongolian product 6517 as of August 28 is CNY8,800 - CNY9,000 per ton, up by CNY650 - CNY700 from the end of July.The market participants in China provide such reasons for this continuing price hike as albeit the procurement of spot goods resulted from futures trading calmed down, (1) Steel mills in Hebei and its vicinity have operated on a full scale since the latter half of August, and the buying motivation for silico manganese is strong, (2) Price for September shipment meant for China submitted by the overseas major manganese mine went up, (3) Retail price of imported manganese ore in China also goes up and (4) Steel bar production in China is going to shift to Tempcore method, and the consumption unit of silico manganese is increasing.
