sorry, you are right am27. on both counts, I do have it wrong, and its still a great announcement either way.
I actually think that priorotising unis for neuromorphic processing is a mistake. I dont think the best place is sitting along side neuromorphic processors or using the synapse like capability of the technology. Its in replacing NAND Flash as quickly as possible.These chips need to be in Intel's, Samsung, Apple, Nvidia hands sooner rather than later.
AI is an edge case and will be for some time. It will be a lucrative edge case, but the honey pot is still in replacing flash.
