Chasing veins of gold is dangerous & difficult work . Dealing with gasses , flooding , collapses . it requires a skilled workforce . The ones who did it originally - would be well & truly retired . It's going to be interesting to see if piddler Bluebird can organise a workforce . Rather I think the JV will look for something they can open cut - a lot easier strategically & a lot less problematic - but there may not be anything like that there .
