FGR took Swinburne University, the University of Adelaide and Flinders University to the IDTecheEX 2017. all 3 of them presented at the conference like Ionic are planning.,

Swinburnes BEST battery (similar to Ionics) is still in R&D
the UoA presented their graphene based fire retardants - still in R&D
and Flinders presended VFD - currently being commercialised.
There doesn't seem to be a vetting process.
