That's not really how the share market works, that shareholders demand that the company be liquidated. Remember that it was built over many years by the Chinese directors, and to demand it be liquidated seems disrespectful of the AU shareholders.

However, it is reasonable to expect tangible returns, eg. regular dividends from a profitable company.

We don't seem in much of a position to demand anything really, so we're relying on ASX and the new Mejority directors. Our future is in their hands.

Anyway, Mejority have made progress, particularly with listing rules. They've confirmed that dividends are still a sticking point, but at least we know they're working on it as one of their top priorities.
