Of course it is not level. Items overseas are 30 to 50 percent cheaper. So ten percent doesn’t change that and it never will.
It will only be a level playing field when the range of goods and services are similar here , and the prices roughly the same.
Meanwhile , I continue to buy overseas products.
If they were made in Australia , I would buy them here. But we make didley any more and it is not my aim in life to make the likes of Harvey Norman wealthy.
