Thanks David, yep I'm learning that there are a lot of other factors involved in assessing a DFS.
For instance, EAR's IRR was well over 3 times that of EMR.
All my gold company shares have differing metrics, so relying on just one can be problematic, which (unfortunately) makes it a very difficult job to select the best to invest in.
Some of my friends just go with management, and damn the metrics, and they seem to have done ok, though I would only advocate that in some circumstances.
And when we compare some of the Aussie miners like EAR to some of the Nevada miners in the USA, the Nevada miners look horrible, often with grades way below anything we have here in Australia, and particularly in the West, and yet the Nevada miners are looked upon in the USA as very prospective.
I suppose we can say, "... one metric does not make a mine...".
