Coming from an electronics engineering background, I can see how it can benefit and improve performance.
A simple way to explain is to think of anteocoat as the thermal transfer paste as used between the CPU and the heatsink to give a better thermal connection.
The wettability disperses the silicon evenly which will give better contact and less likely of a weak link in any particular area.
