Just on your point about why would anyone post information about risks that doesn't hold.
This is foremost a discussion forum. People may do due diligence and decide against buying in based on what they find and want to share that with others.
There is an inherent positive bias on HC, no one seems to question positive posts, so why should negative or questioning posts be challenged.
Discussions belong on a discussion forum.
