On the basis there were large orders (which were filled) sitting at the top of the buy queue before open, which was + a few pips on Friday, but then we had the best news for 6 months...and a decent run AFTER the news, along with the highest daily volume since January...understand your caution, but I reckon this was a near pure anticipated FA news event coming out of the blue and some genuine fomo coming through at lunchtime.
Will the SP drop back to Friday's close? That I don't know, but I'm sure I'll be holding firm now, awaiting the next chapter of the wafer story...late September...or whatever happens prior.
