Excellent grade, Wang - superb quality in that 0.85m section. Grade, grade, grade ... 24g/t silver is nice, too. And 1.6% Zn is interesting.
My takeaway from this is that we've clipped the edge of a really significant zone. Notice the 3rd, 4th and 5th bullets in the Highlights (following) - bold added by me, for emphasis:
"Importantly this hole has a strong off-hole DHEM conductor located within 50m of this intercept.
The ("off-hole DHEM") conductive response exceeds the in-hole response of CORCDD090 and is up to three times the strength of the typical EM response returned up plunge in the Central Zone copper mineralisation.
The conductor is interpreted to represent a potential thickening of the mineralised zone and is supported by a similar strength conductor up plunge derived from CORC088 (4m @ 3.4% Cu from 290m)"
Now let's look at two of the schematics - first, Figure 3 - the Long Section (looking North). Here, the 3 obvious drilling targets are shown in blue boxes. Yesterday, in this post 34407546, I referred to those targets.
Now look at Figure 1 from today's announcement. Notice the new insert pic. - in the top right-hand corner - of the "Example of sulphide bands thickening in Collerina core".
FWIW, my guess is that we will see a large scale manifestation of that in one or more - potentially all 3 of - those drilling targets i.e. fractal theory applied on a large scale. That could explain the very significant DHEM responses. If so, we could have a great orebody.
