Dick Smith went broke 2 years ago so the proposition that there is enormous profit in cheap Chinese goods
may not be so.
The big profits are being made by Apple, Nike etc who are getting enormous price differential because of "Brand"
Just look at the price of an Apple macbook pro 15" compared to an equivalent generic brand. You will notice that
the premium spec'd mack is twice the price of an equivalent generic brand. By the way, Apple refuses to provide
parts & service for its products over 4 years old by labelling them as "Vintage" (Trump speak)
