From what I understand even if Tranche 2 is successful in defeating the appeal Tranche 3 will be to decide damages. Then there's the issue of recovering the damages from the frozen assets held in Australia.
So even if the shares were bought in anticipation of a successful Tranche 2 the road is still long.
Sounds like this could drag on for years! I would have thought the Indonesians may tire of all of this and find a way to pay up something. They're proving resilient haha.
