I don't think that everyone is saying the new board WILL solve the issues, but rather that they MIGHT have a better chance than the current board. Regardless, most will agree that the conduct of the current board has been pretty sub-par over the past two years. To most, it probably doesn't matter whether they do - but I think that people are keen for some refreshment in the way the company is ran.
