Marks a good turnaround story for Santos, a bit of pain for longer term gain.
Plus the Santos Board fended off a cheap takeover that would have benefitted from all our recent hard work and abstinence.
I attended a specialist Broker seminar a few years ago where the 3 best medium to long term plays on the ASX were discussed. To my surprise one of these was Santos linked to the growth / profitability of LNG exports in the next few years. Wil be interesting to see if this does eventuate. Do your own research.
