    They won't be back where they were though.

    Kim has now been legitimised by the "leader of the free world" as the leader of NK in front of the World. He could turn round tomorrow and tell the US to beat it and he still has the legitimacy of the world in front of his people. He's in a much stronger position now.

    Doubt he'll have to execute any aids for treason in the near future. Chances of any sort of rebellion or regime change have been reduced to zero.
