If that is the case I stand corrected. I know you have a far superior working knowledge of the Canning so I do not wish to challenge you on this. However I would like to state the source of that information and how it was printed.
My readings were from page 61 of the Australian Petroleum Accumulation Report 9, Canning Basin, WA
Department of Primary Industries and Energy Bureau of Resource Sciences, Petroleum Research Branch.
Just to quote whats written there in:
DST 2, 3154 m. Laurel Fm Gas to surface at 2.9 million m3/d. Recovered 914m water cushion and 183m of slightly gas cut mud.
DST 1, 3172 m. Laurel Fm Packer failed.
I also checked that information with a geologist as to whether or not it was incorrectly quoted. That person appears to have not listened to the question I put forward.
