The only rush is if you want to get the 50% CGT and want to have the flexibility to sell if the market does go crazy (does happen more than it should with small illiquid stocks). I should have held off another 6 months, but I would rather be too early than too late.
The video you posted captures my belief. The market applies way too much of a discount on first time mine builders given the problems are almost never on the building side, but on the running of the mine side. There is at least a good 100% return in backing builders 12 to 18 months out from the first pour if they have good management and a good DFS. I think given how sluggish EGA has been the return will be far more than this. Investing in builders lacks the thrill of gambling on explorers (not many 10 baggers), but it is a lot more sensible.
